The Fourth Edition Schedule Here's our schedule through the first quarter of 2005. We have books planned all the way through 2006, and our best writers have been working on them for months. We will be announcing upcoming GURPS books farther in advance than we do most of our products.
November 2004:
GURPS Fantasy , by William H. Stoddard. This book is all you need to build a fantasy game of any type, whether your model is Tolkien, Jordan, or Leiber.
December 2004:
GURPS Magic . Hundreds of spells for GURPS Fourth Edition, including almost everything from the old GURPS Magic and GURPS Grimoire, plus dozens of entirely new spells!
February 2005:
Infinite Worlds , the first core setting for GURPS! Jump between timelines and explore weird alternate Earths!
March 2005:
GURPS Character Assistant is the new, improved computerized character generation helper application..
Farther Out As time goes on, we'll be announcing GURPS Fourth Edition releases that don't yet have a definite spot on the schedule:
GURPS Banestorm brings the world of Yrth into the Fourth Edition, updating the background and expanding it into 240 full-color pages.
Need monsters, either as friend or foe?
GURPS Bestiary includes more beasties than you can wag your tail at.
The Girl Genius Sourcebook and Roleplaying Game is based, of course, on the fantastic comic by Phil and Kaja Foglio. Kaja is a GURPS gamer and is writing the book, and Phil and Kaja will illustrate it together.
GURPS High-Tech contains the comprehensive catalog of modern era guns and gear.
GURPS Powers is the ultimate creation guide for superhuman characters with every kind of amazing, off-the-chart superpower you can imagine . . . all the way up to gods!
GURPS Space is the Fourth Edition toolkit for creating space campaign settings.
GURPS Traveller: Interstellar Wars, the Fourth Edition corebook for GURPS Traveller, encompasses a wholly new time period in the Traveller universe.
GURPS Ultra-Tech pulls together the best of the "tech book" classics from David Pulver, and updates them for Fourth Edition.
The long-awaited
The Vorkosigan Saga Sourcebook and RPG (Powered by GURPS) is based on the award-winning series of science fiction adventures by Lois McMaster Bujold.
